The installation process for crown moulding can vary depending on the type of property. In condominiums, ceilings are often concrete, which means we can’t simply nail into them. Instead, we secure small blocks to the wall with strong adhesive and nails every 6–10 inches, creating a strong nailing surface for the crown moulding to be installed on. In residential homes with drywall ceilings, this step isn’t required, and the moulding can be fastened directly. For all projects, we use high-quality adhesives on inside and outside corners and finish the installation with 2″ brad nails for a seamless, professional result.
